DAYTON–The High School (DHS) Baseball team hosted the district playoffs against Sunnyside Christian on Friday, May 3. DAYTON–FFA members participated at sub-Districts in Pomeroy last weekend where Wyntr McCauley and Tristan Rennaker place third and fourth in Extemporaneous Speaking. Dayton FFA only has one member, Wyntr McCauley, who has participated in speaking competitions for three years. However, they have also added Sophomore Tristan Rennaker as a competitor this year. DAYTON–Local D.H.S. student Wyntr McCauley received the Inspiring Teens Magazine Cover Contest award and scholarship recently. McCauley was nominated by her photographer, Sydney O'Brien (Sydney Nicole Photography) to the Inspiring Teens Magazine Cover Contest for Issue 74 and $1,000 scholarship.
