    DAYTON–Councilman Matt Wiens recently resigned and the Council will move forward through the process of appointing a new Council member, the Dayton City Council considered at the January 13 meeting. Wiens was starting the last of a four-year term and opted to resign "to pursue other things to spend my time on," Wiens told the Dayton Chronicle.     Karen Lewis June 1945–December 14, 2020 Karen Lewis went home to her Savior December 14, 2020, in Richland, Wash., after a long battle with dementia. She was born in McMinnville, Ore., in June of 1945. The daughter of Amos and Mildred (McKibben) Henton, she was the youngest of five children. She spent her childhood on a farm near Sheridan, Ore.     Roy A. Shea Roy Allen Shea passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Booker Annex Rest Home in Dayton, Wash. He was 90 years old. Roy was born in Dayton to Clarence Shea and Olga McCauley Shea on April, 7, 1930. He was the oldest of four boys born to the couple. When their parents divorced in 1940, all of the young boys moved in with their grandparents, Thomas and Bertha Shea. They were raised at the family home on 4th Street.
