    DAYTON–The Columbia County Rural Library District Board (CCRLD) of Trustees called a special meeting on August 2 to vote on placing the Library Dissolution Resolution on the November ballot.     CLARKSTON–A 46-year-old Pomeroy man was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident on SR 12 near Chief Timothy Park July 19. Jeremiah J. Hessling, 46, was pronounced deceased at the scene, five miles west of Clarkston, according to the Washington State Patrol. Hessling was westbound on a 1992 Honda ST1100 motorcycle when, in the process of passing a commercial motor vehicle, his vehicle collided with an eastbound 2020 Toyote driven by Jamie M.
