    DAYTON–The Port of Columbia Commissioners heard public comment in opposition to the proposed meat processing facility on lots within the Rock Hill Industrial Park.   • Car fire under investigation

    Fire units and police responded to Mill Race Road early Tuesday morning to a report of a car on fire, and discovered an unattended vehicle fully engulfed. Fire District No. 3 fire fighters put the fire out at the 2:23 a.m. incident. The responding deputy determined that no individuals were in the burning vehicle, and that tracks in the snow appeared to lead away from the vehicle. The interior and tires of the four-door sedan were destroyed by the fire. The matter is under investigation....

    POMEROY––The Wolfpack Wrestling Team of Kason Fortune, 170-lb. senior, and Koyen Fortune, a 170-lb. freshman, finished third and fifth, respectively at the Pomeroy Christmas Tourney Dec. 17.
