POMEROY––A lightning storm that rumbled over the Tucannon Valley Thursday, September 7 sparked a wildfire in the vicinity of the Tucannon Hatchery and Cummins Creek the next day. PRESCOTT–A 26-year-old Prescott man succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on State Route 124, three miles east of here September 8. Harley J.
