Puget Sound Energy presented a $2,500 check to the Community Food Bank of Dayton last week to help the organization stave off hunger in the community. The contribution is not restricted, said Anne Walsh, PSE's Senior Wind Resource Advisor, so it can be applied to any need: food, equipment, or other expenses. Accepting the contribution were, from left, Bobbi Ruddell, board member; Ruth Janes, vice president; Walsh and Linda Miller, board member. Food Bank Manager Laura Thorn, not pictured, said the Food Bank put PSE's 2018 donation toward a heating system upgrade and that the organization is exploring several avenues for assisting people in the community.
