WALLA WALLA–Christine L. Judd, 43, Dayton, was injured and transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center when she lost control of the 2006 Buick she was driving at 7:31 a.m. Saturday, November 23, westbound on SR 12 near the Walla Walla airport, and struck the guard rail due to speed being too fast for conditions. Seatbelt restraints were in use and drugs and/or alcohol were not involved.
The vehicle was totaled. Judd was charged for no insurance, according to the Washington State Patrol.
On Friday, November 22, at 6:29 a.m., a single car rollover at west Highway 12 and Whetstone occurred, caused by driver Shad D. Ringo, 26, of Mill Creek, Wash., driving too fast for conditions, according to the State Patrol.
The 2003 Chevrolet was westbound on SR 12 at Whetstone Creek Road when the driver lost control, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled. Ringo was injured and transported to Dayton General Hospital by Columbia County Fire District No. 3 ambulance.
He was wearing seatbelts and was charged with speed too fast for conditions.
The Chevrolet was totaled. Alcohol and/or drugs were not involved.
