DAYTON–Earlier this month, five members of the Dayton FFA Chapter were named as recipients of the State Farmer Degree, announced Kristina Knebel, FFA Advisor for the Dayton High School chapter.
Receiving the State Farmer Degree were Kira Boggs, Jurnee Griffen, Cassidy Laughery, Tayven Seney and Josiah White,
The State FFA Degree is the highest degree awarded at the state level, and award recipients must fill out an application that details their SAE (Supervised Agriculture Experience Project), describes their active involvement in the FFA, and demonstrates their commitment to community service.
The 90th Washington FFA Convention, usually held in Pullman, was held virtually with convention sessions broadcast on Facebook.
