Veterans Day alters Chronicle publication day

DAYTON–The day commemorating United States veterans, and the closure of federal and state offices, falls in 2020 on Wednesday, the day of the week the Dayton Chronicle usually is delivered to the U.S. Postal Service. As a result, next week’s Dayton Chronicle, dated November 12, will be mailed on that date. Subscribers should expect to receive their newspaper on Friday, November 13.

The following week, the mailing of Dayton’s community newspaper will return to the usual Wednesday, with distribution by mail carriers, on Thursday.

Readers who purchase their Dayton Chronicle at one of our many vendors, may look for the paper at around 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12.

Vendors include Dayton Mercantile, The General Store, Elk Drug, Steve’s Cash Grocery, PDQ, Shop ’N Go 2, PFI Mart and the Dayton Chronicle. In Waitsburg, the newspaper is sold at Waitsburg Grocery.
