If you believe what the major news networks, Associated Press and other “mainstream” media outlets are saying, everything would appear to by hunky dory in the good ol’ United States of America.

But there is an undertow of post traumatic stress syndrome among the media elites.

For four years they had Donald Trump to beat up, day after day, relentlessly, doggedly, ruthlessly.

And I find it amazing that in the first few days after he was elected in 2016, all of a sudden, the word “impeach” was being heard all over the place. Different newscasters and reporters, different politicians…all repeating the same word.

Reminds me of last summer when Vice President Kamala Harris, on Stephen Colbert, urged protesters to keep protesting, and I quote:

“They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop. And that’s…this is…a movement, everyone beware, they’re not going to let up. And they should not. And we should not.”

It’s part of the Marxist strategy to gin up a narrative and repeat, repeat, repeat to drum the words and thoughts into the consciousness of America.

But back to December, 2016: Immediately the impeach word surfaced and the liberals didn’t stop there. First it was the Russian collusion. Then impeachment.

In the liberals’ back pockets have been the news media. Here’s a suggestion: check out the Australian news broadcasts on YouTube. You will get an entirely different point of view on what’s going on in American politics.

Alternative points of view are few and far between on YouTube, which is owned by Google.

Believe me, if Google doesn’t want you to see it, you won’t, and it’ll suggest all sorts of attention-diverting content for you to watch. “What Ulysses Grant Can Teach Joe Biden.” “Sourdough for beginners.”

I follow national news by selecting segments on YouTube. Search for Fox News, News Max or OAN and you’ll get exactly two videos from them, but along the bottom for when you’re done, there’s CBS, ABC, CNN and other, more-progressive programs. I look at both but find the mainstream news less credible.

Yet it’s got to be hard for the regulars in the White House Press Corps.

Before Biden, they got to gnash their teeth at the preposterous things Trump was doing (according to progressive news sources).

Now they’ve got Joe (yawn) Biden.

His press secretary isn’t even on a scale of nationally competent press spokesperson. I mean, what can you say about the scores of executive orders he’s signed that will put the United States back into the Nineteenth Century.

But wait! There will be a little blood pumping in the ol’ veins when Trump’s second impeachment trial gets started in the U.S. Senate this week. It, however, is D.O.A.

And rightfully so. It’s a head-shaking shame that so many Democrats—and some Republicans—think it is constitutional to impeach a private citizen. It’s unconstitutional, unconstitutional, unconstitutional.

I look to Trump to be working behind the scenes as Joe Biden wreaks havoc on the economy and policies of this great nation. He’s mastered the “Art of the Comeback” and I think we’ll see more of him in a couple of years.
