DAYTON–An adapted version of a perennial favorite–the Dayton Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt–will take place this Saturday. And, yes, the Easter Bunny will be there!
Instead of the excitement of children racing through the Dayton City Park, and rather than cancel the event, organizers of the community Easter Egg Hunt have adapted, due to virus precautions, to a drive-through Easter Egg "Hunt." The drive-through will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, and continue until supplies run out or 11 a.m.
Families with children are invited to drive through the loop at the Dayton Swimming Pool and receive prebagged candy eggs. Drivers are encouraged to use 2nd Street to approach the park parking lot; if approaching from the vicinity of the school, drivers are asked to kindly use E. Park Street (by Dayton Elementary) to access 2nd Street.
Joining the Kiwanis Club as sponsors of the event is Homestreet Bank of Dayton.
