Fatal accident east of Waitsburg

WAITSBURG–A Burley, Id., man died in a one-vehicle accident five miles south of here September 11.

Brandon J. Hoard, 25, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Hoard’s 1993 Ford pickup was eastbound on SR 12, left the roadway and struck an embankment.

Hoard was not wearing a seatbelt, the Patrol report indicated.
