Lady Wolfpack handed pair of opening losses

MABTON–It was a rough start for Dayton-Waitsburg's Lady Wolfpack last weekend with the White Swan Cougars coming to Waitsburg and running away with a 62-13 win, then the Lady Wolfpack trekking to Mabton for an equally disappointing 66-13 loss to the Lady Vikings.

The game at Mabton on Saturday night was also one where the Lady Vikings put doubt about the outcome aside early, scoring 20 in the first quarter and 27 in the second for a 47-8 halftime lead.
