DAYTON–The Manager of Columbia Grain International (CGI) at the Central Ferry grain terminal, Ted Lowe, presented an undisclosed monetary donation to Judi Pilcher for the Dayton Food Bank, in behalf of the local farmers who deliver grain to the Central Ferry facility.
"CGI would like to cultivate growth by actively being involved in local charities in each of the communities we currently serve," said Lowe.
"Columbia Grain International cultivates growth across its broad footprint, which spans the northwestern tier of the U.S., including Washington, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. However, we've chosen to focus our philanthropy at the local level," said President and CEO of Columbia Grain International, Jeff Van Pevenage. "One of our corporate core values is caring; caring for the farmers we do business with, the consumers who purchase our products, and the local communities where we cultivate growth."
This season, Columbia Grain International's Central Ferry Facility donated to the Dayton Food Bank, Garfield County Food Bank, Lacrosse Food Pantry, Community Action Center in Pullman and Colfax Toy Drive to express our dedication to local communities."
Columbia Grain International supports local charities with monetary donations, coats, and toys for children across our entire reach and donates our small-pack lentils to food banks," Pevenage continued. "We value our dedicated partner producers in the communities we do business with and believe it's important to give back and help these small communities grow into the future."
