He Has Risen!

“He has risen!” were the angels’ words to the women who were at Jesus’ tomb. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was risen from the dead. The angel said, “He is not here. He has risen, just as He said”.

The Bible says “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” 1 Cor. 15:3-4.

Darkness has turned to light. Fear is expelled and confidence has come. Death is not the end. Hope, anticipation, and confidence well up in the believer’s heart. Those who believe in the resurrected Lord are promised salvation and eternal life.

Through the resurrection of Christ, the power and fear of death has been destroyed. Through His resurrection there is confidence and hope at the grave of a believer. Through the resurrection of Christ, His eternal Word is validated. Through the resurrection of Christ, the believer has a living Savior who invites us to a daily relationship with Him. Through the resurrection of Christ every day is brighter and life is lived in fullness of joy. Through the resurrection of Christ, we have an everlasting advocate who saves to the uttermost those who come to Him because He ever lives to make intercession for them. Through the resurrection of Christ, we are promised power over sin in our personal lives.

By placing our faith in Him and accepting Him as Savior and Lord, He comes into our life and makes Himself personally known. He fills our emptiness and gives us joy. He promises us everlasting life.

The adult ridiculed the little girl for what he felt was a foolish belief in Jesus and His resurrection. She responded boldly, “I know He lives. He lives in my heart”. He desires to live in your heart, too.
