DAYTON– If it’s hidden in plain sight, can you find it?
The public is invited to a free presentation on the current trends in youth substance abuse, drug paraphernalia, concealment of illicit drugs and alcohol, and how drug paraphernalia might be “Hidden in Plain Sight” in a typical teen’s bedroom. Volunteers educate community members about drug trends, paraphernalia, how to talk to youth about alcohol and drugs, and what to do if a problem is suspected.
The interactive display and program begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Dayton High School Auditorium, and it is sponsored by Dayton’s Coalition for Youth and Families.
This educational experience walks adults through a sample of a teenager’s bedroom which is set up with drug paraphernalia.
