DAYTON–Curbs in the downtown area are sporting a bright coat of yellow paint, City of Dayton crews tackling the project Tuesday.
Public Works Director Ryan Paulson was apologetic to Main Street businesses and Dayton citizens for the short notice, point to supply problems. Since the weather was conducive to painting curbs, Paulson and the City Crew proceeded with the curb painting.
On Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1, Paulson is planning to paint the parking stalls on Main Street.
He requests that local citizens not park vehicles on Main Street to enable the paint crews to efficiently complete the work without needing to skip places and return to them.
