The Club to offer summer activities for youth

DAYTON–An interesting and fulfilling summer is ahead for the youth of Dayton and Columbia County, thanks to The Club’s “Summer Break at The Club” program.

It is open to any students entering Kindergarten through sixth grade and some of the activities on the schedule for the six-week program (June 20 through July 29) include field trips, fun and engaging daily activities, swimming, admission to the Liberty Theater Summer Movie Series, and much more, says Jim Pearson, Executive Director of The Club. Included for each participant will be breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

The hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and the program fee is $250. June 10 is the deadline to enroll participating students.

“There are flexible payment options and financial assistance available,” Pearson said. “The Club is committeed to keeping the program cost affordable to all who wish to attend.”
