Construction moves Eagles' Valentine's Day event

DAYTON–Construction in progress at the Dayton Eagles Aerie's new location at 258 E. Main Street, formerly the Weinhard Café, has prompted Aerie members to relocate their Valentine's Day dinner to the Columbia County Fairgrounds Youth Building on Tuesday, February 14.

The prime rib dinner, open to Aerie members and guests, will take place as planned and advertised, from 5 to 9 p.m., except it will be at the Youth Building. Tickets for the $25 per person dinner are available at the club.

A delay in the availability of access to the Aerie's seating area from its lounge area is the reason for the move. Work is underway to create a passageway to the dining side, the former offices of Blue Mountain Realtors.

The lounge at 258 E. Main will be open on Valentine's Day for the enjoyment of Eagles members.
