What's New At School?

MS/HS information night coming up

DAYTON–Middle and High School information night is in the Elementary Multipurpose Room on February 28 at 5:30–7 p.m. Dinner and childcare will be provided at this event. There will be prizes valued at $300. This is an awesome opportunity to learn how to navigate GoGuardian and Skyward. Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) will be presenting on financial aid. Middle school students will have a chance to learn what to expect for high school.

The Junior Class of 2024 started the Candy Gram Fundraiser and will continue this fundraiser up until Valentine’s Day. DHS Associated Student Body (ASB) will be working alongside with the Junior class in selling Roses for Valentine’s Day as well. Both the Candy Grams and Roses will be sold before school and during lunch. In the Middle School (MS), the MS Associated Student Body (ASB) has been selling candy grams as well just for the middle school students every day before school.

In upcoming school activities, the Dayton FFA Officers working on National FFA Week, members of the chapter are continuously practicing for upcoming competitions the South Speaking Event Competitions. March 8 in Pomeroy is scheduled. March 11, and in Garfield-Palouse, there will be a Trap shoot. The State Agronomy Competition will be on March 22 in Pullman.
