DAYTON–The local School District will begin utilizing a cloud-based technology that will improve the governance process while saving staff time and taxpayer dollars. BoardDocs LT will be used to streamline the process of preparation for board meetings in addition to the effectiveness of generating minutes during the meeting and transparent access to documents throughout the entire process.
Electronic distribution will not only save time and resources, but it will also provide unprecedented public access via the https://go.boarddocs.com/wa/daytonsd/Board.nsf/Public web site to agenda items and other board-related information. This process will allow interested parties to review information prior to meetings. All documents associated with the meeting are automatically archived and can be accessed by date or by using the system's comprehensive search feature.
Access to the current board agenda will be available bi-weekly, two days prior to the meeting when the link will go live for viewing. That link can be accessed on the school website under the School Board page at https://www.daytonsd.org/page/school-board
The new board management features can be accessed via the organization's web site at https://go.boarddocs.com/wa/daytonsd/Board.nsf/Public. For questions regarding the new platform, contact Rachel Lowe at [email protected] or Suzi Tasker at [email protected].
