March came in like a lion, forcing the Dayton-Waitsburg Lady Wolfpack Fast-Pitch Team to practice indoors in anticipation of their first double bill at White Swan, Saturday, March 18, under second-year Head Coach Carly Benavides. The 25-strong Dayton-Waitsburg Wolfpack Baseball Team opens its season Saturday with a double header at White Swan, and the team will be counting on these returning lettermen to play important roles this season, under second-year head coach, Greg Crenshaw. There are some 20 throwers, jumpers and sprinters turning out for Wolfpack Track and Field, including this half dozen who return to competition after earning varsity letters last season. Head Coach Dan Nechodom and Assistant Coach Angie Alleman are hopeful for some state appearances from this team and look forward to coaching the team to success this season.
