DW sweeps Pomeroy in slugfest

POMEROY––The Lady Wolfpack batters pounded 31 hits, including four home runs, to win both games against Pomeroy March 28.

Madison Gallardo nailed a homer in the first game and Peyton Struckmeier, Teagan Culley and Kylee Henry homered in the second game.

The Lady Pirates jumped ahead 11-0 in the first game but DW rallied with steady scoring the rest of the game to win 25-14 on 15 hits. In the second game, Pomeroy rallied to tie it with six runs in the bottom of the seventh, but the Wolfpack attacked with three runs and the 20-17 win.
