Health Resource Fair provides service information

POMEROY–A health resource fair was held at the Pomeroy Senior Center on May 18. Participants set up tables with services and contact information, and the fair was open to the public. Participating entities included Obenland & Low, Homecare Services, the Senior Round Table, Garfield County Fire District No. 1, WorkSource, Elite Home Health Service, Blue Mountain Action Council, Pomeroy Partners for Healthy Families, Quality Behavioral Health, Garfield County Hospital District, Aging and Long-Term Care, Asotin County Community Services, Garfield County Public Health District, and Assured Independence.

"We have a lot of resources here," said Rachel Anderson, representing Aging and Long Term Care. "We have a deaf and hard of hearing advocate, which is new this year." Several people stated that the fair provides a good opportunity for networking between the entities.
