Cast members rehearsed this week for upcoming performances of the Missoula Children's Theatre's production "The Secret Garden, staged this Friday, August 11, and Saturday, August 12, on the Liberty Theater Stage.
DAYTON–The Missoula Children's Theatre is bringing "The Secret Garden" to the Liberty Theater stage this coming Friday and Saturday.
A cast of 46 local young people have been intensely rehearsing and nursing their parts this week, under the direction of MCT's Sarah Ratcliff and Kaylen Stevenson.
"The Secret Garden" in its original MCT rendition, is a joyful retelling of a story of hope and a celebration and all good things in life. Mistress Mary Quite Contrary embarks on a journey from India to her uncle's home in England. Along the way, she makes friends with the hilarious Canadia Geese and the colorful Giant Bugs that Rock! In time, she learns to appreciate everything around her, including the Moor Animals and the helpful Fireflies. Add to that a good, healthy dose of caring and what happens?
Cast members include Oaklee Adams, Charlotte Billow, Casey Collins, Abby Corey-Boulet, Graham Corey-Boulet, Dahlia Crenshaw, Hazel Crenshaw, Winter Crenshaw, Kestrel Deford, Reagan Dobbs, Lulu Dunn, Natalie Dunn, Penny Dunn, Harlie Falconer, Elizabeth Hays, Molly Jonas, Arianna Kalous, Xavier Kalous, Kayla Kuykendall, Natalie Knudson, Nina Kromm, Allison Lewis, Natalie Lewis, Olivia Long, McKenna McCowen, Hailey Mead, Kale Meadows, Alia Mundy, Grace Ortuno, Mia Paquette, Natalie Paquette, Ciara Riggs, Josiah Rundell, Rebecca Rundell, Melody Sparrell, Ellie Thurston, Kyla Thurston, Aeret Walter, Emylee Williams, Emma Wyant, Maci Wyant, Raymond Yutzy, Rhonda Yutzy, Rosemary Yutzy and Jazz Zanger.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $5.
