DAYTON–The Columbia County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with Columbia County Fire District No. 3, will celebrate Halloween with the Annual "Law Enforcement Trick or Treat" October 31 from 3-5:30 p.m.
Tick or Treaters can visit the Sheriff Helm, Sheriff's Office volunteers, and District 3 Fire crew in front of the Courthouse at 341 East Main Street. Bags of goodies will be handed out to all the little ghouls and goblins. Hot Dogs will also be served.
As in years past, the Sheriff's Office is accepting donations of candy from the public in support of this yearly event. Candy can be dropped off at the front counter of the Sheriff's Office starting October 4 through the close of business day on October 26.
The Sheriff's Office appreciates the continued support of the community with this yearly event.
Be safe, and see you on Halloween.
