Disney's "The Little Mermaid" opened with quite a splash Thursday, November 9 as this year's fall musical, with an evening performance at the Liberty Theater. It's a story of love, of family, and of new lands filled with song and dance, colorful mermaids, humans and sea creatures. Kaelee McCauley plays Ariel, pictured above, and many of the other characters are portrayed by puppets, which is a delightful novel approach for the Liberty Theater. There are nine more performances through December 2, including four matinees and five evenings.
