DAYTON–The Columbia County Parks and Recreation Pool District (PD) will host a community work session at the Dayton School Multipurpose Room on Thursday, April 18 at 6–7:30 p.m.
Community members are invited to collaborate to develop a vision of a community swimming pool. This work session will build off the results of the Pool Party session hosted by the Friends of the Pool in 2022. This is the time to express your vision; and wish list. Your voice is important in developing the overall concept plan of our community swimming pool.
The work session will be led by board commissioners Ted Lowe and Katie Leid.
Following the PD work session, the Friends of the Pool will hold a meeting to elect new officers. If interested, plan to stay for the meeting.
The Friends of the Pool is a 501 c (3), a non-profit, that is eligible to apply for funding.
