Friday evening, the charter bus brought the Yamate High School Cultural Exchange students to Dayton High School where they were paired with host families and launched on their two-week experience.

Eight-year-old Josiah Rundell, with dad Ryan, practice kendama, a cup and ball game of skill, with help from Karin Kobayashi, who is being hosted by Danon, Shannon and Dakotah Griffen. After about a half dozen tries, Josiah finall landed the ball in the cup, much to Karin's immense delight.
