COLFAX–At a six-way meet here April 16, the Dayton Bulldog men's golf squad did well on the 18-hole, par 72 match. At their home match on April 11, the team finished in second place on the 18-hole, par 72 competition.
"We are very inexperienced this year," commented Head Coach Mike McGhan, "but this is a group who is focused and works very hard to improve every practice. I was very pleased with our performance today [at the Colfax match] with several of our golfers playing their best rounds of the year, notably, Opal Hair-Morin, Monte Richie and Noa Tasker."
At the Colfax meet, which include Waitsburg, Tekoa-Rosalia, Colfax, DeSales and Pomeroy, Noa Tasker came in with a 121, Hunter Griffen 146, Carson Potter 126, Sawyer Brenner 60 (9 holes), and William Daves, Waitsburg 132.
