The Fourth of July was toasty and the days since have become even more summer like, with temperatures well in excess of 100° F., which sent this young Fourth of July picnicker a-splashin' in the kiddie pool to keep cool. The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for the first few days of this week, and expects temperatures in the high 90s and low 100s with clear skies day and night.
