New this fall is a Teen Advisory Group for 7-12 grader. This group will help develop tweens and teens library services, create fun programs and activities, what materials young people are seeking, create a welcoming environment for all, promote the library, and have a voice in the library. The Teen Advisory Group can earn volunteer hours for school, develop leadership skills, follow a code of conduct, participate in productive discussions, and attend scheduled meetings.

Kid's Summer Lunch Club will continue through August 26. Meals are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. On Tuesday and Thursday, a healthy snack is available now and will continue through the school year.

The Table Top and Role-Playing Games section is now operational. Come play games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and Coyote & Crow. The newsletter states: "This project is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, with funding administered by the Washington State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State."

Stay tuned... "There are many more great programs and ideas coming up this fall and beyond," says Brigham.
