These returning letterwomen will lead the Lady Bulldog Volleyball Team into its 2024 season which starts this afternoon, Thursday, September 5, with a jamboree involving the Lady Dawgs and Prescott, Touchet, Liberty Christian and Yakama Nation. DAYTON–The Lady Bulldogs' season gets underway this afternoon with a Volleyball Jamboree at the Dayton home court where the Dawgs will host teams from Prescott, Touchet, Liberty Christian and Yakama Nation.
The season gets rolling with a Tuesday, Sept. 10 home match against Colton, then the Lady Bulldogs travel to Rosalia to take on the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The opening round has Dayton facing Prescott on one court while Touchet takes on Liberty Christian on court two.
The gym will be configured with two courts with teams facing each other for 30-minute sets, ending by the clock, not the score. Teams will switch sides at the 15-minute mark and there will be a 15-minute break between matches.
Scoring is allowed up to five consecutive points, then a side out will be awarded with no point.
