Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, is a dark comedy and long-awaited sequel to the award-winning movie Beetlejuice. Director Tim Burton, and star Michael Keaton reunite for this sequel.

After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.

With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

Rotten Tomatoes critics rate this movie 77% "fresh", while audiences give it an 80%. IMDb gives this a 7 out of 10. The movie is rated PG-13 for violent content, macabre and bloody images, strong language, some suggestive material, and brief drug use.

The IMDb parent's guide categorizes this movie as moderate for violence and gore, profanity, frightening and intense scenes, and mild for sex and nudity, as well as for drugs and alcohol.

That website also stated that this is a pretty dark comedy for PG-13, and that it probably barely avoided an R rating. Runtime is 104 minutes.
