Halloween with heroes at County Courthouse

DAYTON–The Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Columbia County Fire District No. 3, and Columbia County Emergency Services will host a Halloween with Heroes event in front of the courthouse Thursday, October 31 between 3-5:30 p.m.

Parents of Columbia County are invited to bring their families to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office Halloween afternoon for trick or treat goodies again this year. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with Columbia County Fire District No. 3, and Columbia County Emergency Services, is will be conducting a Halloween with Heroes trick or treat event this Halloween afternoon. Come to the front of the Courthouse located at 341 East Main Street in downtown Dayton, where bags of goodies will be handed out to all kiddos in costumes. Sheriff Helm and staff of the Sheriff's Office, Fire Department and Emergency Services, will also be on hand serving up hotdogs. We look forward to vising with the community and seeing all the great costumes.

As in years past, the Sheriff's Office is accepting donations of candy from the public in support of this yearly event. Candy can be dropped off at the front counter of the Sheriff's Office starting today through the close of business day on October 28. We appreciate the continued support of the community with this yearly event.
