A 32-year-old Dayton resident was transported to Dayton General Hospital following a one-vehicle collision early Sunday morning, October 27. Jacob A. Lambert, 109 W. Cameron St., was injured when the 2014 Mazda he was driving collided with the bank on SR12 east of Dayton at about 2:46 a.m. Dispatchers received an automated message and dispatched ambulance, police and fire personnel. Infractions for DUI, Driving While License Suspended 3rd, wheels off roadway, failure to wear safety belt, failure to stop at stop sign and operating a vehicle without insurance are being considered by investigating officers with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
