The WDFW, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, and the Nez Perce Tribe, are assessing the Tucannon River on the WT Wooten Wildlife Area from Camp Wooten to the WT Wooten Wildlife Area Headquarters. They have hired consultants to look at options for improving the floodplain, including upgrades to the Tucannon lakes, recreational access, and floodplain habitats.
The meeting will also be recorded and put on the assessment webpage for those who cannot attend the meeting in person.
