Michael M. Rowley

December 11, 1944–October 22, 2024

Michael M. Rowley, age 79 years, passed away on October 22, 2024, in Bremerton, Wash.

Mike was born in Bremerton, Wash. to Colin and Helen (Mikelsen) Stepper on December 11, 1944. He graduated from West Bremerton High School in 1963 and later from Olympic Community College.

He married Linda Anne Josephson in a ceremony held in Bremerton on February 25, 1966. They raised two sons and a daughter: Matthew, Jefferson, and Elizabeth.

He entered Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1964 as an Electronics Mechanic apprentice. After graduation, he held numerous positions including Nuclear Inspector, Electronics Technician, Planner and Estimator, and Type Desk Assistant. He retired in 1996 with 32 years of Federal Service.

Mike also served in the Army National Guard and Army Reserve for 23 years and retired as a Master Sergeant in 1994.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Linda.

He is survived by his sister Geri (Schmeichel) Abraham and his children.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Manette Community Church in Bremerton, Wash., December 15 at 2 p.m.

Mike will be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
