CEDS meeting date set

DAYTON–The Port of Columbia will hold the annual Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) meeting at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

The public is invited to join and hear reports on last year's priority projects, a presentation on the state of Columbia County's economy, and review the list of priority projects for 2025.

The CEDS meeting is an excellent opportunity to learn about economic development in Columbia County, according to Jennie Dickinson, Port Executive Director. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide input on the direction of this area's development work. At the meeting, the top three priority projects for 2025 will be chosen by participants.

Phil Neumann, owner of Mainstem Malt, will give a presentation on his business and explain what a malt facility does.
