Project Timothy receives food insecurity grant

Dayton's Project Timothy received a nice contribution from Puget Sound Energy last week, an $8,500 boost to the local non-profit organization's efforts to counter food insecurity. Project Timothy had written a grant earlier in 2024 to address food insecurity and Puget Sound Energy awarded $7,500. In recent weeks, Puget Sound Energy contacted Project Timothy President Jeannie Lyonnais to inform the group that an additional $1,000 was being awarded to further combat food insecurity. Presenting the check were, from left, Anne Walsh, Puget Sound Energy, Senior Wind Resource Advisor, Joanie Hudson, Administrative Specialist with PSE, Jeannie Lyonnais, president and office volunteer, and Darcy Beleny, vice president of Project Timothy board.
