Mitchell's whereabouts still unknown

DAYTON–Additional photographs of a missing local man, Henry (Wayne) D. Mitchell, 67, have been provided to the Dayton Chronicle, in efforts to help locate Mitchell, who has gone missing around the Patrick Grade/Tucannon area.

Mitchell went into the mountains on Friday, Nov 22, 2024, around 12 p.m. His vehicle was found near Patrick's Grade on the Tucannon campground. Coordinated efforts with Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office, College Place, Washington State Fish & Wildlife, Search and Rescue teams, and other state agencies and tracking animals have been on the ground since Saturday.
