December 20-29 "Moana 2" Walt Disney Animation Studios' epic animated musical Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced.

The Rotten Tomatoes critics' consensus says "riding high on a wave of stunning animation even when its story runs adrift, Moana 2 isn't as inspired as the original but still delights as a colorful adventure." Critics on that website rate this movie 62% favorable, and the audience gives it a positive 87%. This movie is rated PG for action/peril. Its runtime is 100 minutes.

Following two weekends of Moana 2, the theater will be showing Wicked January 3-7.

East coast New Year's Eve at the liberty theater Tuesday, December 31 at 6:30 p.m.! Showing will be the 2007 movie The Bucket List starring, Morgan Freeman, and Jack Nicholson. Tickets are $25 per person and include the movie, champagne, or cider toast, and hors d'oeuvres. Admission-movie-only is $6.
