DAYTON–Deputy H. Lee Brown retired from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on claiming December 31, 2024 as his last duty day.
Brown hangs up his many hats worn in service to this community over the last 30 years. He performed duties as Undersheriff, Firearms Instructor, EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) Instructor, and First Responder. He deployed with the Washington Army National Guard in support for Operation Iraqi Freedom twice. Brown also has several deployments during his time with the United States Marine Corps.
